Nice to be Home!

We're back from the beach! It was nice to be away, but so nice to be home and see our boy. We missed him, but it really was nice to spend some time with each other. The beach was beautiful, but we didn't take any pictures...also nice to not have a camera attached to me.

Tonight we went over to our friends the Heimerdinger's for our annual pumpkin carving party. They have a really neat older home and last year we carved in the basement which was very authentic for scary movies and halloween atmosphere. This year for child proofing purposes we carved in their unfinished bedroom. A lot less for the kids to get into:) Their house is coming along great. I'm not a remodeling type...it is amazing what they have accomplished, but I would go crazy. Here are pics from that... Atticus was enthralled with Robby all night...or maybe it was his cookie?

Robby kept stealing cookies off the table...CAUGHT! At least he likes mom's homemade sugar cookies!

Jason was trying to get Robby to play in the "guts." It scared him more than anything

Did I mention it scared him?

Here's the top dad.

Mom scooped, dad carved...what a team! Don't you love Robby's pirate pumpkin?

Cute Atticus...he's grown sooo much since we saw him this summer.

Robby didn't want to share a square inch of his chair...it was definitely bedtime!

The finished products.

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Rob and I are off to the beach tomorrow! It is our 5th anniversary on Saturday. Robby is going to stay home with G&G Thorn. We have gone back and forth all week on whether to take him or not, but I know they will have a great time together. I miss him already.

It has been a long week at work. I think every week seems like a long week actually. For those of you who don't know I am a dental hygienist. Lately I have really been having some difficult personalities to "entertain." Let me tell you with the economy, certain procedure anxieties or political issues it has been a hard past few weeks. There are some strong personalities out there. I like it though...if everyone was the same my job would be pretty boring. Every hour is different and every mouth for that matter. If I wasn't challenged at some point what fun would that be? Plus it gives me some great stories to tell...names omitted of course.

For my patients who read my blog...I know who each and every one of you are...you are not considered difficult. I wouldn't give you my personal blog info if I felt that way:)

I work in what I consider an awesome work environment. We have a great team. I work for a young dentist who is as cool as a dentist can be...just kidding Tony. He knows Rob well from playing on a softball team with him for the past 3 years. He has young kids himself so he can totally relate with me. His assistant Nikki is the best. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have her at work. We go to lunch everyday. Gotta love the dollar menu. Let's not forget Patty. Patty is our office manager. She keeps us all busy and knows the answer to any question you may have. Luckily we have pts to keep us on track or the 4 of us could chat all day long about nothing...like I said, "We have a great team!" I consider myself very lucky. I will be celebrating my 4th year of working there come January, and I look forward to many more years to come.

I'm trying my hand at uploading videos...this is an old one from March of Robby eating. Ignore my voice please... I think we were watching Big Brother. Have a good weekend!

Rob and Jesse's birthday party (out of order)

Last week, Oct 10th, was Rob's birthday. He shares this day with his good friend Jesse. We decided to have a joint birthday party this year to celebrate Jesse's 30th and Rob's 31st. Of course I got a lot more photos of the kids than anything...enjoy

Hello? Yep...party's at my house...come on over!
This is Jesse and Tiff's son Will. (Robby's BFF) He is just 3 weeks older than Robby.

The Birthday boys.

Grandma and silly Robby.
Cute Addison.
Ready to ride the cow.
Buckin' Bronco
Love this picture of Addison cheering him on. They sure had fun taking turns being bucked off.

I love footy jams on kids. I wish they were socially acceptable for adults. Wouldn't a footy pajama party be fun?

OSU vs. WSU (past due)

We had a good time at the WSU game. Nothing out of the ordinary...cold morning, fun times with friends, fun with cousins and good food. What more can you ask for? Oh yeah...and the Beavers won!...Enjoy the pics...
We got there early enough to make breakfast...Robby loves OJ...juice that is.
Grandpa and Grandma...can you tell by the nearly empty parking lot how early we get there:)
Ryan and Jacob...Rob has known Ryan since kindergarten. So nice to have such good old friends. Jacob couldn't wait to see the band and cheerleaders. Too cute.
Any ladies...Ryan is single.
Cupcakes of course.

Enjoying something good I'm sure. Love that cousin Luke!
Our family

Rob's good friend Erik Fischer and Josh Henry. We are glad to have you close Fisch. Missed you in Cincinnati!
Worn out...
Cute smiling Jackson!
Go Beavs!

Visit with Grandma Trachsel

My mom came down for a visit today. We went to lunch and I helped her do some Christmas shopping for Robby. We had a good day and Robby was a good boy even after a big morning at the pumpkin patch...

Tried to get a good shot on the front porch before we hit the road.
Pictures again!
Open wide Grandma!
MMMM...Baja Fresh
Robby loves hats...kept trying on tams at Target. He looked so cute admiring himself in the mirror while grandma was in the dressing room. Best shot I could get after a long day.
Thanks for a fun day mom.

PUMPKIN PATCH TRIP

We went to the pumpkin patch today with Robby's daycare friends. It was so much fun and so much to see and do. I won't bore you with words...I will flood you with pictures:)

The kids checking out the sheep.
Peeking...so curious about everything!
Here's some hay donkeys!
Petting the baby chicks.
Hey guys...wait for me!

Zane taking Robby for a ride. He was so good with him all day.
This slide looked more intimidating than it was...took about a minute to get to the bottom.
Only pic with mom all day...goin on a hay ride!

Off they go into the maze!
I'll just stay here and pose for pictures!
Where did everyone go?
I found Zane!
Picking out a pumpkin...Robby took a faceplant in the mud before the day was over.

Hmmm...maybe that one over there.

Found one!

Aren't we cute!

It was such a fun foggy morning. Can't wait for next year! Thank you Miss Sherry!
