Doctor Visit

Robby had a doctor visit today. I thought this picture was too cute not to share. He caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror while we waited. He looked like he wanted to play with that handsome guy. 6 month visit coming up...can't believe it has gone so fast!

Miss Sherry's House

I don't think I'ver ever mentioned that we love Robby's daycare. He goes here in West Salem where "Miss Sherry" has been for 28 years I think. Anyways she is wonderful. She cares for the kids like they are her own. I don't know how she does it. Well Robby doesn't like to sleep there, because there is so much going on. She sent me this picture yesterday of the kids doing craft time and I think it says it all. Robby is in the lower right hand corner watching all the kids work.

Rob's new toy

Rob call's this his new mini-bike. It is his christmas/anniversary gift. He is like a giddy kid when he gets to ride it. His friends Jesse and Ryan also bought one at the same time so they are having a lot of fun.

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving with my family at Aunt Marilyn's this year. There were 17 of us. I didn't get a chance to take very many pictures, but I did get one with Grandma and Papa Trachsel and then a quick family picture. Dinner was great as usual, but always puts Rob into turkey coma.

Jackson Robert

Robby got a new cousin this month! Jackson Robert was born on Nov. 12th. He is Rob's sisters second boy. I posted a picture of Robby with his brother Luke in October. We can't wait to watch him grow and change. How fun to have all these cousin's around the same age! Now Robby has 3 boy cousins! 2 of them were born this year. My brother and his wife had a boy named Cohen William in January.

PEAS PLEASE!

We have been giving Robby rice cereal in the evening for a little while, now we have started him on veggies! He is so happy. You could tell he was more than ready for them. We finally got him a high chair this weekend, so all of these photos are in his car seat. So far he has only had peas and green beans, but he's not complaining. You can tell he loves having his own spoon. It is much cleaner than him sticking his fist in his mouth. Plus I have been told if you give them their own spoon they learn to feed themselves faster!

Last Beaver Game

Well the last OSU game ended with some controversy. It was crazy how long the crowd booed after some questionable calls by the refs. Luckily we still won the game. Here are some pictures from tailgating before the game. Some pics of the little guy hanging out, family pic, pic with grandparents and picture with Emily, Rob's cousin, who watches Robby with Cindy, Rob's aunt, during the games at Emily's apartment across the street from where we tailgate. It is wonderful that he gets to tailgate and they get a chance to spend time with him. We greatly appreciate them!

Beach Trips

We had a few beach trips this month. First I went with my mom, grandma and Robby to Seaside to celebrate my grandma's birthday early in the month. Then Rob and I went on our first weekend away towards the end of the month to celebrate our anniversary late. Robby stayed with Papa and Grandma Trachsel. It was so hard to leave him...I think it will be a long time before we will leave him again!

Other Halloween Costumes

Grandma Thorn got Robby this beaver costume for christmas last year when he was just a peanut and Sherry, Robby's daycare lady couldn't pass up this pumpkin costume. I dressed him up one night to get some pictures.

Catching up on the past month!

It has been quite a while since my last post...Robby went through a little sick stage. He coughs a lot and they think that he has a flexible larynx. There is a long name for the condition, but he will grow out of it by a year old or so. We are just glad to know why now. I will just post a bunch of pictures...they are more fun to look at anyway! Hope everyone is doing good! The pictures downloaded out of order...don't get too confused.

Robby had his 4 month check-up on the 12th of October. At that time he weighed 15 lbs 8 oz. (55%), He was 26 inches long (85%) and (96%) for his big noggin'. A couple days later he had already gained 10 oz to weigh 16lb 2 oz. Crazy how fast they grow!

Giving it a try

I have been told numerous times that I should start a blog so people can keep in touch with me. Well we will see how good this works! This is going to be my first try so check back in and see how good I am at posting. We are heading off to the beaver game against UCLA tomorrow. Everybody pray for no rain. Rob's aunt and cousin watch Robby across the street from where we tailgate, so we don't have to worry about him getting wet and cold at least. Here is a picture from the airport...he is just about to get on his first plane ride to Cincinnati a couple weeks ago.
